L'il help....is this Craigslist bike any good?

Hi guys, I am looking to get a nice BMX for my nephew's B-day and things are tight so I have to get something used and I saw this ad on CL; what do you folks think? Good deal? He is turning 10 and wanted a cool ride now that he is in the double digits. Any help is appreciated, I don't know much about BMX bikes, I am a roadie/fixie kinda guy, thanks.

For a 10 year old, it will be fine. Definitely won't give him street cred, though.

Heheheh, that is good, he is already got a bit of a rep anyways

What about the price? Is this a decent deal or should I wait for something better bike-wise and price-wise to come along? His b-day isn't for a little bit, so there is no rush. Thanks again.

It's not a very good price for a pretty ****ty bike. Go to danscomp.com and do him a favor and buy him a good bike if you think he is going to get into the sport... it'll pay off in the long run.

That guy got ripped off if he bought it new for $450. Defintly not even worth the money.
