My bike flipper friend in town just told me they picked up a Voyageur frameset at an estate sale but that it was too big for him. I'll follow up and see if it is perhaps the right year and size.

I have an orange :72 World Voyageur in 23". A repaint I bought from a member here. It's too small for me. And, alas, it is in Mexico. Available nonetheless, in case you become desperate enough.

Hi.i have a schwinn voyageur sp frameset. However it needs some restoring.
Columbus tubing, fork pannier rack bolt ons.3 water bottle mounts.
I was going to restore it myself but,i lost interest in it. Someone had sprayed it with some primer and i tried to clean it it up.
Size is 22 1/2 inches C-C and top tube is 22 inches c-c.
Straight,no dents .I was thinking 95.00 dollars plus shipping since it needs some love.

Interesting that the Schwinn Voyageur chart says that the blue 84 and 85 Voyageur SP have a Columbus fork, but the one above is clearly labeled TANGE. I also see the remnants of a Columbus decal on the fork legs. Or, maybe just the fork legs are Columbus.

Could be a rare mistake for the hand-builders where they picked up the wrong tube for the steerer while assembling the fork!

It is more interesting to me that the Japanese spec'ed drivetrain and brake bike have Cinelli bars and stem! It is a unique mixture. Reminds me of what Trek used to spec in the early stages. Before companies became bigger and went purist.

Tempting but that's likely way more project than I'm in for right now.

That's an interesting Schwinn Voyager frame.... I've got a fair bit of 9 speed touring parts that could be used to build this up. Not sure on the sizing though. I'm just about 6' tall with a 33" inseam, would this frame fit or kinda on the small side?

Note that this SP frame takes a 27.2 mm seatpost, not 26.6 as the comparison.pdf and Schwinn catalog list....

Seller lists it as an 1986 but it is a Wine Red 1984. Still a very nice bike.
