Today I would only stay asleep for 3 hours, so I just figured I would get up, shower, and start my day early. I sat down on my bed in my towel after I showered and slept for another 3 hours instead. Sleeping in towels is the most comfortable thing ever.

Today I got up, showered, took the dog out, and drove to work. I was feeling lazy this morning, so I didn't ride my bike to work. Now I'm sitting in my office working at surfing the internet. Pretty boring day so far. Tonight, I'm going to put some fresh tires on my girlfriend's commuter mixte (single speed Soma Buena Vista), make dinner, go out for a night-time ride around town on my road bike, and then clean up around the bike room. I've got about 5 projects going at once, so there are parts all over the place, and it took my about 20 minutes last night to find a disc brake mounting adapter for my SS mtb. It's time to get the dump organized.

Today I committed to riding even in the rain because I'm tired of feeling out of shape and flabby. I dragged my ass out of bed and fought 15-30mph winds, 35 degree weather, and rain to ride 10 miles to work. Still glad I did. My coworkers think I'm crazy (because to them, 10 miles sounds like a lot even though it isn't) but turns out I avoided a CTA train derailment so it worked out great. Hoping the thunderstorms and hail will pass during the day so I can still ride home.

Today I found out on Tree Fort Bikes that their Tektro R530 caliper set that I ordered were "Item is discontinued and is no longer available" when they told me it was on backorder a few weeks ago.

I hate the internet.

Sounds about right to me too. Although I am in central Michigan. Woke up to a little more snow on the ground, a very windy, sleety mix falling as I type this.

So today I cleaned out my closet i use for storage, found some extra bike parts, worked on one of three group porjects I have for finals, and will soon eat some food. All while not being on my bike :-(

Today I opened to door to head out to the bus stop and faced a surreal sight: hail the size of 10 cent coins was blanketing my back yard and rattling off the roof. Felt as if I was in a Tim Burton movie. Got on the bus and two streets east, the ground was dry with no moisture.

I, unfortunately, also looked at the weather today.

I guess you folks in the far north have it worse...but still, this sucks.

Today I had to pass the same guy three times on the ride home because despite the fact that I was clearly faster than him, he shoaled way out into the intersection every time we hit a red light. It's not an affront to your manhood that a girl passed you, dude. And if it is, giving me the opportunity to pass you THREE TIMES isn't very smart, now is it?

Haha, speak for yourself!

Despite yesterdays amazing weather, and mood, today the weather isn't storming, but it's not great by a stretch. It really varies up here. And I am feeling really strangely sick and I don't know why. I'm having someone pick me up some agua, and laying in bed on here, hoping I break out of this sicklyness soon.
