Addiction LXXVII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The great satisfaction and benefits of not doing a whole lot. Quite often in life, less is more.

Yes, it's called retirement.

I can vouch for it. In due time, grasshopper, in due time.

Syracuse metro area has over 600k people. We have Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's. I just don't go to them.

Having a hard time not going for a ride. They promised rain and excesive winds. It sunny and warm, 60° f. Why must it be so difficult?

DSL is not shabby so long as you're not sharing bandwidth with nearby neighbors. Distance from the CO is a big factor too.

I have been in a BJ's. When they were a new thing, I got a year's membership thru work. The whole buying-pallets-of-stuff thing never stuck.

I just got a call from the boss, asking me if I could build 100 bikes by Friday(for $20 each)

Looks like I won't get much saddle time this week.

Thanks. I was looking at that one. I'm conflicted whether to buy a jack and stands or those drive up ramps. Ramps are $40, but jack and stands would be more useful long term.
