You know, I'm not a fan of the Rye Hatter this year. Try the Black Hatter if you can find it.

Founders Devil Dancer Triple IPA. 12% abv! It tastes great considering how strong it is. Not really the most refreshing beer on a hot day, might be better for a cold winter night. But dang just a few of these beers gets you feeling nice.

Bourbon's my drink of choice. Lately I've been drinking Benchmark - light, smooth, flavorful and cheap.

I really like Ron Zacapa Centenario too, but if you can find the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusivo (not just Reserva) I highly recommend. These two bottles were brought to me straight from Venezuala

just had drinks with a buddy who's an entomologist and has been in every country in South America except Uruguay and Columbia, as well as most of the Caribbean.

his favorite is Flor de Cana 12 year.

too heavy for me.

Southern Tier 2X Stout. Mild 3/4 of the way, a shot of whiskey in the back of the throat at the last sip basically. Never experienced anything like it. Sleepy.

I've done the Black Hatter and the Farmhouse Hatter too (last year). Of the 3, I forgot which one I liked most though haha.

I thought the Rye Hatter was pretty decent this year but I really like rye beers. Hop Rod Rye is a good one. Cane & Ebel, Founder's Red Rye, etc. All good ones.

Evil Twin: Without You I'm Nothing wild ale. Great for work-drinking.

Edit: We just did a Cantillion tasting at work to see which bottles we wanna bring in. Holy ****. In related news, I'm kinda drunk.
