1952 Super Le Tour
At an estate sale I purchased a Schwinn Super Le Tour bike. It was made in Japan shows an serial number 1G11909 on rear of back frame. Front tag stamped 1311. When I look up G11909 it shows manufactured 12/06-12/10 1952. Is this correct and does it have any value?

That would most likely be a 1981 model. The imported Schwinn bikes used a different serial number system. Shimano Altus LT derailleurs and a hi-tensile steel frame. Value depends on condition. As high as $150 in my area if in good condition with new tires, cables, etc, (though I live in an area where there's not much market for road bikes) or as low as $20-30 if it needs tires and other consumables.

1311 means it was built May 11, 1981 (so happy slightly belated birthday).
