New old guy jersey

After reading the long thread about old guys in team jerseys I thought I would post a pic of my latest purchase.
How is this for cool?

When I had my 1985 Trek 770 I was always going to get that jersey. Never got around to it.

It's a pretty good looking jersey. I loved that album ever since it came out-snd all of the others.
I may not be the fastest old guy on the trail but I will be the coolest! Especially with the matching socks. 😄
I just noticed lyrics in the pockets.

i don't think i've ever seen that upside down.

IIRC about a month ago i listened to it on spotify. something was off. turned out there were some tracks suppressed due to language. forget which tracks exactly and guess they never phased me. at least that is a setting i was able to change. one of my all time favorites.

probably going to have to get that jersey.

I dunno … I would be concerned that jersey can only be worn for racing around to come up behind you again

The front and back of the jersey match the album cover. It’s supposed to be like that.

Ahh. I'm not familiar enough with the album cover to make that connection. Despite being in an age group that is generally huge Pink Floyd fans, I'm not. Sure, I know some of their songs, but their music never really moved me the way it did for a lot of folks. I fell the same about a few other legendary bands of that era.

I turned 18 in ‘76 and think I had the best, and the worst, music. I like Pink Floyd, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and others. I wasn’t into every Pink Floyd song but I like most of them.
I also like that a lot of the young cyclists won’t have a clue.

With Bob geldof. It was really quite good. Was just thinking about that film on yesterday's ride.

As an almost-mediocre guitar player, I can appreciate Gilmour's playing, but the music never connected with me.

Saw Pink Floyd live for The Wall concert. It was amazing. The built a wall across the Sports Arena while the concert was going on, and used it in the show. Watching the "Comfortably Numb" guitar solo, with a light shining behind the performer in a little missing brick of the wall was unforgettable.

I heard they actually lost money on that tour with all the money spent on special effects and surround sound. I believe it.

I was lucky to get the tickets by lottery. Probably the best concert I have ever seen.

I also saw a tribute band up in Mammoth Lakes last summer, and they played DSOTM start to finish. That was awesome too.
