89 Bianchi Giro
I recently picked up my first Bianchi, an 89 Giro. It has a few parts not correct for this bike. Does anyone have photos of a correct Giro? I have searched Google to see what it the right parts but.....things like the wheels. I know they are supposed to be Ambrosio Super Elite anodized, I am finding both silver and dark finishes when I search for these. Did they come both ways? Same for the seat, I am finding both Black and Celeste, which one? Handlebar tape I am finding 3 colors, white, black and Celeste. The brake hoods also 3 colors. Last the cable housings, also 3 colors. Which is right, which is wrong?

The ‘89 Giro was equipped with Campagnolo Athena 7 speed indexed group. 3T stem and bars and mine had Fir EL 25 rims. The saddle is a Celeste Selle Italia, looks like a Turbo but not labelled as such. I have a catalog scan I can post later when I have some time.
BTW those decals look different from the ‘89 versions I have seen.

They are the wrong decals. It has been repainted at some point. The previous owner had the derailleurs and shifters for it and included them with the bike. I am planning on putting it as close as I can to the way it originally was.
