Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

The bumpiest recumbent I ever rode was a Catrike. My Slipstream rides like a hammock on wheels (but then again it is roughly 6.5 feet from axle to axle and has a chromoly frame).

I have a Bacchetta Aero 2.0, which has a carbon fiber frame.
It is great, light, fast, and gives a lot of exercise benefits.

BTW, did anyone mention Schlitter bikes? I'll be riding with a couple of them today.

Correct you are. We can't tell new people to use the search function and then complain when they do.

There's a fine line. Reviving a few-month old thread to ask if there are further developments or to add relevant content is one thing, reviving a 10-year old thread to introduce yourself: not going to be as well-received.

The revival of this thread lets us do the former, but it was revived due to the latter.
