Finally got fatty off road
Dang! Climbs like a mountain goat runs over almost anything and I came close but didn’t wreck Took the Motobecane Boris to Hill Country SNA near Bandera Texas. Hard pack rough terrain so I ran around 10 psi and had a blast. The wider cranks made me smash the pedals a few times but that is how it goes. Not so much fun on the gravel roads but it begs to hit the trails. Overall a very fun way to ride what my neighbors say is a clown bike

Maybe they say clown because if you are like me, my first ride (and consecutive rides) I smiled like a kid.
I have three pressure groups: Off-trail 5-10 psi, gravel and non tech trail 10-15 psi, if I have a long way to go on a paved road, I'll bring it up to 25 psi

Tire choice (in addition to pressure) makes a huge difference in a fatbike's feel on different terrain. I love my Pugsley on gravel grinders, I ride Fat B Nimble tires for gravel. But these same tires are garbage on snow...
