I'm slow
I mean, I'm slow anyway, but the Pugs is s...l...o...w...
Granted, it's single speed, but I'm thrashing pretty hard to hold about 12-13 mph on the paths. Maybe that's generous.
(I'm not that slow...I'm a strong/slightly above average guy on the road.)

dont think in terms of bike speed, think FATBike speed. According to FATBike speed you are hauling ass.

I can't imagine why...
On the bike path a few months ago, I passed a fat bike. It would nearly pop a wheelie taking off from every stop light... and I could barely keep ahead of it at about 22 MPH.

12mph is slow? My average speed is usually 10km/h (6mph).

I felt pretty slow on hard packed two-track initially. I found that changing to tubeless and mounting Schwalbe Jumbo Jims (4.0 & Snakeskin) made a world of difference. There is some data available on rolling resistance of various fatbike tires here.
I suspect some will question why one would worry about the rolling resistance of a tire that is inherently hard to spin. For me a saved watt is a saved watt and I'll take 'em where I can get 'em!
Of course the real improvement came when I bought a pair of "fair weather" 27.5+ rims and mounted 3.0 Rocket Rons.
