Kid just got the 8.0. I think it is a great bike and remarkably good deal. The one thing that worried us about the 6.0 was the lack of lock-out on the rear suspension.

The one we got has an aluminum rear triangle and the front part of the frame is carbon. There is already a crack on the weld of a chainstay. The bike has less than 100 miles on it, I think, and the kid (135 lbs) takes care of it as his prize possession, so I imagine this is a manufacturing defect. I sure hope the Canyon warranty is worth something.
