how to protect legs during trail ride?

hey,

I just found out about ticks and such. my legs are cut up to the core and after every ride rashes rashes rashes. i think its time i cover up my legs.

are there such things as leg warmers? i know there are knee warmers. i already have padding from my fox shorts so i am looking for non-spandex leg coverings from lower thigh all the way down.

anyone know any products?

sounds like you need some basic body armor. 661 veggie shinguards are good. Fox makes some good stuff also. Look into the launch shinguards.

The new Fox Launch Pads just came out. Go check them out, I just bought myself a pair. They fit really nice, and on the sides of the knee come off so they are really easy to put on and take off. I bought them for $80.00 Canadian. ($92.00 With Tax)

its just nasty. looks liek someone took a rose bush and just beat my legs with it llol.

i mean i wouldnt complain if i didnt wake up in the middle of the night to find my legs bloody from subconsciously scratching them. decided it was time to wear leg warmers. i'd rather wear tights than continue to be uncomfortable.

I wear jeans or sweatpants and I never get hot or anything.

Or you could wear your shorts and use real quality comfortable shin+knee guards

Leg warmers 4 teh win. You could also shave your legs and then put packing tape on your shins. It works reasonably well, but if you sweat too much, it peels off.
