Don't want to brag... well mybe I do...
A little over a year ago, I was 365lbs. I have not done any special diet, just reducing carbs and being more active. Getting back into biking has really turned on the fat burners.
Today I did a 50 mile ride with my Uncle, and cousin. When I got home, I jumped in the shower and after drying off got on the scale.
For the first time in a very long time, the first two numbers on the scale were "25". 258 to be exact. Now I understand a few pounds of that is just water I lost on the ride and tomorrow morning I may well be back out of the 250s, but it means I will be in the 250s very soon and start looking for a "24".

Congrats, keep up the good work
When I originally started following the Clyde thread this year, I was a baby Clyde, 210lbs. I had been hanging around that weight for the last 5-10 years. This year with getting back into riding I can no longer call myself a Clyde. I set a goal to get down to 195 by the end of the season, last week I hit that goal. My stretch goal was 185 which I thought I could never get to because I love me some hops and barley, mainly hops. Anyway after my ride yesterday I saw 190, that's the least I have weighed in almost 20 years. As of now 185 seems within reach and I can be down to the weight I was when I left the Army.

Good job, I know how tough it can be. I was stuck at around 245 for a while, now I seem to be stuck at 230 with occasional dips into the 220's. Still trying to get back down into the 220's and hope to stay there.

Congrats!! Don't give up. I started out in the 240-250 range myself, am now down to a well respected 165# from a slight diet change and becoming more active again. There are some days I still feel lazy, but for the most part the lighter I am the younger I feel. I now run 2ks daily without feeling like I'm going to have a heart attack, I no longer get winded from pushing my daughter on the swings at the park, I can ride 50 miles without a single break and can do 25 miles in just over an hour vs 4+ hours it took me when I first started riding. It's a great feeling...and one to be proud of, so like everyone else said : BRAG ON!!

Very well done, brag and be proud, loosing weight is a very difficult thing to do, skinnies have no idea what it takes. Sure for most of us we know that we are the cause of our weight problem, but that makes loosing no easier.
I'm on a slow journey that has had its ups and downs, the bicycle has been a great friend.
Hope you can keep it going and best of luck.
