This was actually mine back in the day.
Eventually the matching top tube pad and bag had to go.


even more so because it was a nice frame.

This is my bike from my first test ride. My bars hadn't come in yet so I stuck a mini plunger handle in there for a quick run around the block.

The wheelbase on that tandem is no shorter than most other 'traditional' tandems.

Perhaps so, but the stoker has much more room than would be the case on a traditional tandem frame.
