To each their own. Favorite NB disc colorway for me.

That said, _nothing_ beats the purple Nature Boy.

Level NJS

Built this LEVEL njs on a whim. With a mix of spare parts, and NJS stuff from another build. Built to be comfy on the street, less NJS points. But it rides so nice. Really happy with it. Splurged on the fork. ---- plus ... this dura-ace 7410 headset with cartridge bearings is the best. I'm never going back to loose HS bearings.

I know the frame protector is pointless with wrapped bars...

I don't know.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it is just a little too overdone?

The white tape and saddle are OK as it stands but the white brake housing, white toe straps and gold brake cable crimp thing push it to the point of gaudy.

Parts of it look like it came to do business on the track and other parts of it look like it just wants to be a diva, can't make up its mind.

I kinda agree with you. I've only ridden it for a week now, and i feel a little weird about some of my choices. Lol. I have a black concor as well, that I'll try out, and wrap the bars with black tape. Might swap out the straps with a pair of well-used black ones. The cable-crimp really showed up in the photos for some reason ... but it's hardly noticeable. ---- or i dunno. A few more weeks of abuse and all the white accessories will become so stained, it'll start looking a bit more humble.

Well, the saddle, and the fork aren't Japanese. They are both Italian. Thought the brake kinda worked well with those. It was the only calliper i had laying around anyways.

Wow, tough crowd! I vote the white bike as done is great, and no justification is necessary.

Wait, wait, wait...

This is yours? I am truly embarrassed.

I thought this was the porn thread. My comment was directed to it as porn - a show bike.

They said the same thing about my bike, that it was too silver, and gaudy. I guess it is the pot calling the kettle, huh?

Not on the level of your Level but yeah, they said the same thing about mine.

If the right frame at the right price comes along, I may find some room for it. It's mostly because I have these cool old Duegi shoes with slotted cleats that I want to do something with.

Yeah, I picked them up several years ago and they were just sitting in the basement of my old house until I got them back recently. I guess it's kinda nonsensical to build a bike around a pair of shoes, but YOLO.

Y'all are crazy. This bike is sick. Campy brake is OK because Colnago fork.

I generally try to adhere to the idea that we shouldn't criticize people's bikes that they post in this thread - but since there was already a comment or two re jonelliotelliot's bike that wasn't so flattering...

It is very pretty...but all white frame, seat, tape bikes are way too Ghostbike-ish to ride around on the streets
