places to ride in NYC?

places to ride in NYC?
i've been pretty lazy this winter and wants to start training and build up my endurence. does anyone know a good ride in brooklyn or the city that i can do in the morning or early evening. nothing crazy, just a nice long, relatively smooth path or road? I've been told riverside park or the FDR, but i'd rather not have to cross the bridge everytime for a ride. appreciate any suggestions. thanks

Don't you live in brooklyn? Go to prospect park, it's probably the smoothest place around here to ride.
