Liam O Brien New Zealand
I have a road bike built by Liam O'Brien of Reynolds 525 tubing. The frame has had little use and has the original paint in excellent condition. Exige 500 running gear. Not the original tubular wheels but clinchers. What's it worth?

Without pictures, nothing, because we can't make any sort of judgement.
I realize as a new poster you cannot yet post pictures. You must get to ten posts to do this. The standard advice is to hop over to introductions, introduce yourself nine times, and then come back here and post pictures.

Reynolds 525 and Exage 500 = nothing special here. Kind of surprised a custom builder didn't go higher up on this. No idea where the New Zealand market is, could be more valuable. Here, its limited.

I think Reynolds 525 and Shimano Exage components will probably throw you into the newer (90's), and mid-value range.
A lot will depend on the actual condition of the bike.
