Best SNL Skit in Decades
It started out as a running joke between cast members, who would compare notes on how they got around on the various freeways when visiting LA. One of the writers turned it into a soap opera parody. The rest is history.

2seven0 yes it is. Sharp eye there. And before you ask, the Cheese Shop Skit is my all-time favorite. Ewan McTeagle, the Scottish Poet is not bad either.

Well it certainly isn't contaminated by cheese!!
"Argument Clinic" gets me every time but I guess you weren't expecting a sort of Spanish Inquisition...
Oh man don't get me started!

Pretty funny. Although I have to admit I'm huge fan of the first couple of seasons of SNL and really haven't seen much of in in the last 20 years.

Does any one besides me remember the cycling skit Foster Brooks did during the '84 L.A. summer olympics? It had me in stitches. Any possibility some one may have a copy of it or know where to access it? BTW, it's a real skit, not one of his "stories" and it has nothing to do with a preacher and a stolen bicycle. He's wearing a kit that's about 3 sizes too small and he pretty much disassembles the bike while talking about it and the race. I hope some one has a copy.
