Diablo Challenge 2019
I'll be doing backpack hauling duty again. October 13. But they need more volunteers this year for assorted positions -

DiabloScott...Hopefully the weather/winds will shift. I'm riding this year and thanks for the support. See you on Sunday.

I'll be the guy with the cowbell and whistle at the bottom of The Wall.

I'll be the guy on a white Davidson impulse wobbling up the wall!
Looks like the weather has turned for the better and a nice day is forecast for the race tomorrow. Last year I had the number 666 which was perfect....given the diablo winds that were wipping. See ya tomorrow.

Are you the yellow guy? I can't quite reconcile the finish times with the order they came by because of the different start times and categories. I've got the first couple hundred riders on the raw file though.

It was a glorious day weather wise for sure. Sunny and warm up top with hardly a breath of wind.
I was wearing mostly a black kit with a black/white gilet. Given my 8:09 start time I would have passed by you around 9:10-9:11.
The guy in the unicycle finishing in 1:06 is crazy fast. Good for him!
Thanks again for supporting the riders.

AH-HA!
There were big gaps this year - really spread out as opposed to windy years with big groups finishing together.
I had an old buddy with a custom Davidson, that was a really nice bike.
I gave that unicycle guy a ride back down - he said he was the only unicyclist ever to complete the Everest Challenge.

Yep. That's me. Thanks for searching this out.
The Everest Challenge on a unicycle!!! that is amazing. He looked so smooth cruising up the wall.
