Summer Photos

So I finally got a map of my whole route from this summer made after doing some manipulation with Photoshop. To commemorate, I thought I would upload a few of the better pictures to share. I am quite proud of them, considering that I'm no photographer and they were shot on some tiny Pentax consumer digital camera.

North America duh

Fraser Valley, BC

Twin Falls, Smithers, BC

Campbell River, BC

Victoria, BC

Ruby Beach, Washington

Ruby Beach, Washington

Lincoln City, Oregon

Near Devil's Elbow State Park, Oregon

Cape Blanco, Oregon

Great photos. Do you have a journal as well? I only ask because I would like to know where some of the photos were taken.

How many days? You covered some ground if it was just this summer. I just took a road trip w/ the fam and we did the same cali route. Started at the bottom and headed north. We turned off at san fran though. Did you do the PCH?

Your trip looks awesome and I deem you a photographer. It dosnt matter what kind of camera you have, its all about the compisition.

You came thru Kansas and didn't get a picture of THE tree????

Nice shots- I especially liked the clouds/shadows at sunset, the melon, and the partner in the pipe.

I figure that I spent somewhere near 75 days actually bicycling. The entire thing was between June 1 and September 19 though, with some longer stops here and there.

Dan I really like your photos.
I have a question for you.
I am going on my first long tour from Los Angeles to Southern Nebraska. And your route you have pictured above is something I am looking at growing. I was wondering if you had it routed out in detail so that I might be able to take a look at it and maybe even get some suggestions from you of some highways that you would have taken if you knew before hand of.
Thanks for you post,
Ben

I think some of the pacific NW just looks like that. Just a natural thing... I could be wrong though.
