Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BT: I'm calling you out kid

You claim to ride 20-30,000 km annually. That's highly dubious, since you're 19 years old, and that's more miles than some pros ride. Putting aside the fact that most of the Red Blooded Americans here don't know what the F a 'km' is in the first place, why should we believe you at all? All we get from you are smart ass posts and purloined photos and graphs. None of us have even seen a photo of you on a bicycle.

Also, how long have you been riding this alleged 20-30km annually zit-face? You're friggin 19. Since 8th Grade? Because I've been riding 1,000 miles monthly now for 42 months straight. Gee, that takes us all the way back to when you were 15 years old. Before that I averaged 7K miles annually from 1990-1999 (you know, when you were a baby and everything). And my recent years have been documented here day by day, ride by ride, photo by photo, with eye-witness verification from other BF members who have ridden with me.

Frankly, this thread isn't really road cycling related, because I don't think this kid does any actual road cycling. So if the mods want to bump it to Foo, they probably have the right idea.

I'm with patentcad.

Where's your photo, dude?

(Guys, either he's lying, he spends way too much time on the bike, or is a pro...)

That seems more reasonable, then! (I thought it was on an annual basis too).

You got an S1? Congrats!

The size of your manhood is inversely proportional to the amount of miles you ride.

I thought that's what you owned, since you had a Soloist there before.

That's really not that big of a deal...even if it is on a daily basis.

There is no more Soloist, just the "S" series.

The S1 is the Soloist Team equivalent.

What's the formula for converting BF miles to "regular" miles? I thought 10 to 1 was the going rate...

Harrassment

Harassment occurs when a member insults, attacks, and denigrates another member at any time. We have zero tolerance for taking an argument about a any topic to a personal level. For instance, the use of terms such as "idiot, moron, stupid" and other derogatory terms constitutes harassment. The idea is to make this a pleasant environment to discuss cycling, not a schoolyard, or name-calling and rock-throwing festival. Repeated critical and sharply negative posts toward a forum member can also constitute harassment. This applies to all content submitted by users including posts, avatars and signatures.

Personal attacks and inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated.

Respect the forum staff. We're not here to make life harder to anyone. Any decision taken by the administrators and moderators is final and must be respected.
