Fender mount issue

on the bike fender mount hole,i use a mounting screw but it gets loose when all the way in the mount.it doesnt matter what kind of screw i use it still gets loose too.


this is the mounting hole that any screw gets loose when i try to screw one in.



not the same bike but the same mounting fender mounts



how can i make it so the screw doesnt get loose when i put in?

Is the screw loose or is the threaded insert spinning, or stripped?

Thread is stripped. Take it to a bike shop or engineering workshop that does rivet nuts. They can drill out the old one and put a new one in.It's a 5mm metric thread, same as a water bottle boss.
