I did try building a trike at home that looked very much like that one.
While it was ridable, it was also VERY unstable. By sitting so high, and the wheels only 20",
It could tip over while not moving, just by shifting my body a bit.
Your body weight needs to be closer to, or over the two wheels, not the single in the back.
While riding, any kind of turn, at any speed, would upset it.
Please, do not confuse that "upright" trike with the wonderful recumbent trikes that have two wheels in the front.
Those are very stable, comfortable and safe. On those , your body weight is so low, there is no tipping. They are also expensive, but worth the money.
My own "home built" got cut up the first day I road it. i rebuilt it into the trike I've posted on the "Never thought I'd ride a trike" thread, 50+ sub forum. That one was made from only recycled bike parts, as an experiment.
The odd double forked front, that took a few days to cobble together, was stripped of forks and scrapped.
