Thanks for the tips here. I realize it's a good idea to add a taillight on the helmet. I have a ski helmet that I wear in the winter which has a bracket for goggles; I can wrap a rubber band on it to hook a taillight. But for the other helmet with vents, looks like a velcro strap is an easy and flexible way (just to make sure the velcro hooks will not pull my hair). I think the rear light should be mounted on the lower vents because our head is usually tilted downward while riding, so that the light will be vertical and facing backward horizontally into drivers' eyes and not too high above.

Was one with multiple LED on separate wires, and a coin battery ..
