Yeah, Those guys blow a gasket over the smallest thing. LoL.
I sometimes cut behind a Walmart to avoid a big intersection. One night a few years back there was a car burning behind the store. Just sitting there burning, all by itself, fully engulfed, no one around. Probably stolen. I called 911 but didn't stick around.
The thing is, Walmart stores bristle with cameras. My guess is that car thieves aren't too smart or they would have gone into real estate or engineering or something.

I met this woman in the North Georgia mountains. She had walked the entire Appalachian Trail solo, 2,186 miles and had only 4 miles left when the photo was taken. Today was her last day. Done. Boggles the mind. I didn't know what to say except to acknowledge how special this day was for her.
Her effort was very humbling as I "suffered" through a 60 mile ride with 6200 ft elevation. Below is the Tocoa River Swinging Bridge which is part of the Appalachian Trail. I've wanted to check this place out for a long time.

Even the pavement was nice. Lots of this.

This is from our team ride yesterday, similar mileage and elevation as @TimothyH. A buddy and I rode out to the start from home so that was good for an additional 15 mi each way with a bit more elevation but not too much. I'm near the back in the black helmet and white shoes:
Road bike was fun going up the climb, but if we had to descend it I'm sure that I'd prefer a gravel-style bike. Also I had to use a multitool for the first time in forever... My cleat came loose!

Yeah haha, never thought I'd see the day lol. The Viejas grade is a bucket-list climb in San Diego that is devoid of pavement on the west (good) side, and I hadn't climbed it yet! It was great. Totally doable going up on a road bike. If I had to go down it, however, I think a proper gravel bike would have been in order. The backside descent is paved.

Ha ha, yeah, warning, that's how it starts. 
A short section of gravel just as a shortcut.. Then the rear tire slips while climbing out of the saddle and you think to yourself, "A wider tire would be nice.".... Then you find yourself trying to keep up on descents and wondering if 32 mm Panaracer Gravelkings will fit your frame... And it goes on from there.
That's some really well groomed gravel though. Looks like someone was having fun in the left most photo.

Dirt, and mud and soap and sud. Por que? The offroad riding wasn't too tough, kept up with buds on mtn bikes (a 29er and a 24").
"all condition tyres" The Specialized armadillos. not knobby in the slightest, but not bad either . lop, at least I stayed up. The good thing about off road is there are little to no cars to run you down. lol

After several days of cold and snow, we got a nice, sunny morning today...
Not one to turn down a good opportunity, I hopped on the Steamroller and headed to my favorite path. This stuff does my soul a lot of good.
The angle of this shot makes it look like there's a lot of snow, or else I'm coming up a big hill. Actually, neither is true.
Still probably my favorite bike, although if I had to pick just one, that would be hard.
Kind of the bicycle version of a booty shot.
Two thumbs up for sunshine, peaceful settings... and BIKES! (My right thumb always points up.)
