I broke my collarbone on a car crash about 3 months im a racecar driver and we use 4 point harness seat belts that thouches directly into my plates and gives me the biggest pain ever, with time will i ever be able to handle the racecar seatbelts, racing is my life and i dont wanna give up on it that would devastate me i have resources to do wathever i need but im afraid it will never feel good again and we deal with a lot of g forces when racing

If it is irritating you as you describe and interfering with your profession, it sounds like it is a great idea to remove it. Basically, you will be left with n holes in your clavicle from the screws; those holes will fill in with time.
