Slight dilemma, which bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have the 8S and have just upgraded to the 11spd setup. If you go for the 3C and want to upgrade to 8 speeds, let me know as I have all the parts needed.

Funny story: A professor I once had is the brother of the guy who invented this. He rides it around occasionally. Looks ridiculous.

There is a guy at work that commutes on this. He says that it is a great workout. Not very fast.

It is a great workout. It's different than riding a bike, more like running.

As far as looking ridiculous: I don't care what others think about what I do or how I look doing it. It brings me pleasure and doesn't hurt anybody. BTW, I don't think it looks ridiculous, nor do the others that ask me about it whenever I stop somewhere. Maybe there are those that think it's ridiculous, but they keep it to themselves.

Oh, by the way, I've been riding road bikes for many years (commute, exercise, century, fun, etc.) and still enjoy to this day. The ElliptiGO is just a different 2-wheeled method of exercise, fun and transportation.
