Vitus O.C.T.
French built carbon fiber frame -- OCT = Ovoid Carbon Tubing -- Size = 55cm from center of top tube to center of bottom bracket -- Group is Dura Ace 7700 series. ---------
See pics for details.
Normal wear seen in pics is cosmetic.
Bike has never been involved in a crash or even fallen over while parked.
This particular frame had a limited production run and is very difficult to find outside Europe.
The downtube shifters are a personal preference.
Can be easily set up with conventional brake-shifter type levers [Shimano STI]. Notice the shifter bosses on the headtube
Asking $550

Ti Miyata with an "optimistic" price.
I am selling this gem very rarely seen with Campagnolo Record full c delta almost new very inestimable. this group, including two set of wheels ,pair of coal hed also a set of original Campagnolo ,,TITANIUM miyata frame 54 top to center.
Thank you for the heads up on the Vitus OCT. Per forum member "jyl", who just completed his own Vitus OCT build, the bike rides very nice and stiff, and could be the best of the 80's and early 90's CF bikes from Vitus. It looks to be in good condition and complete. the right size for me, plus the price is not bad at all.
Unfortunately, I'm still out of bike buying budget this year and I'm trying to finish up my Peugeot PY10FC CF bike project, which keeps getting stalled because of things like my car needing new tires this month......

Agreed- especially coming from a dealer. I've seen private party asking prices that are way worse.

[h=2]1984 CENTURION ELITE GT 15 Spd TOURING BIKE - $285 (IGH)[/h]1984 CENTURION ELITE GT 15 Spd TOURING BIKE

Awesome one owner bicycle. Very well taken care of. Tange double butted cromoly 25" frame. 34.5" stand-over height. Sutour Mountech RD, FD. Bar-end shifters. Sugino RT triple front crank. Original Blackburn rear rack. Touring brakes, with a lot of frame braze-ons. Paint is very nice. Rear wheel is out of true (doesn't rub brakes), and rear tire has the early stages of a small bulge on the sidewall. Message with questions. $285 cash. I may accept a reasonable offer that is made IN PERSON after viewing the bike. Leave your number and a good time to call/text you.

That bike was sold for $50. I was the second person to respond to the ad and the seller said it is mine if the first guy didn't want it. It was relisted on CL by the guy that bought it later in the day for $285.

That's always kind of painful to see. Maybe the person that relisted it knocked some of the dust off.

I really like mine, but I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have paid $285 for it.

It was re-listed within a couple hours. I love the first sentence 'one owner bike'. Must not be counting himself as an owner. The guy is somewhat notorious and not well respected.

"Full Campy"? The seller doesn't even claim that and list Universal brakes, although he got the crankset wrong. And since it seems perhaps all the seller did was grab this at a yardsale of good will and do the absolute minimum to make is look good enough to sell the price may be high by about $200. It certainly needs an overhaul, and very likely new cables and maybe a chain and freewheel. If that Ofemga BB is bad you will certainly need a new BB and you'll have to buy a Super Record clone so that would set you back close to $80+. The seller didn't even bother to put bar plugs on it.

Don't want to rag on the guy too much but I do get a kick out of how he tries to use different variations of Inver Grove Heights for where he's located and displays each bike in a slightly different location at his home to make it appear like all these bikes are not listed by him. I did see the original $50 ad. His ad looks like the bike was just wiped down and reposted.

If he's making money at selling/listing all these bikes, cool and good for him. But at least own it, IMO.

I couldn't resist and had a brief email exchange with the seller- I'm inclined to change my mind and believe this is actually legit. Bike and seller are currently based in Austin but both will be in NYC soon for a ten-day period. I guess the tactic of listing it in both places is reasonable, but I would have been more up-front about those plans.
