Info on monark silver king found
Don’t know too much about vintage bikes, most info I have is from watching American pickers lol. However I found a couple of bikes in a building of a house I recently purchased. One was pretty easy to find online and wasn’t too valuable (a Sears 3 speed Roebuck). However one really caught my eye, the front plate has been painted over but logo is still readable, it says “ROCKET” in a diagonal pattern with “monarch silver king, Chicago IL” on the bottom corner. I would really like to learn more about this bike and any information you have in it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, -CP

I say try checking over at the Cabe https://thecabe.com/forum/ they tend to do better with 30's and 40's American cruisers and heavy weights most of the Monarchs were top of the line for this type vintage bike so there where a lot fewer made and many got scrapped for the higher end metal and aluminium during the war years so not as much info as with other brands.
