Sources for Steel Quick Releases

Hi, on a recent build I had to turn to ebay to locate a set of dura-ace steel QR's to keep my wheels locked in place on a chromed dropout bike. I prefer to use shimano, full steel QR's on my steel bikes, but am not able to readily find new, full steel ones.

By full steel I mean not just the skewer, or one end (like the Velo Orange ones). Even most of the shimano mtn bike ones are steel on just the acorn side via an insert. I'd like both clamping ends to be steel.

Does anyone know where to find a ready supply of NEW shimano cam style, full steel QR's that have some vintage appeal to them?

Thanks!

I would just snag a pair from any 7-speed mtn bike with Shimano hubs. All Shimano 7 speed skewers were fully steel IIRC. And 7 speed MTBs selling for nothing are legion in the the thrift stores, junk yards, and garage sales. Or get on ebay and buy same.

I made a killer deal on 10 NOS Campagnolo Tipo rear skewers for 50. bucks on ebay. With a die and cutting them, I can shorten to use as a front.

I know nothing about Shimano...
