Wanted - Record Rear Derr. Cage Stop
A friend recently gave me this Record rear derailleur. At some point it must have lost its elegant little cage stop pin. The repair, while perfectly functional, is much less elegant.
This is the piece that I am looking for, either just the pin or an entire non-functional derailleur.
Thanks.
Brent

Thanks!
It was sort of a crazy idea. Some guy on the CR list was looking for one, years ago, and I figured...well, I might be able to make one of those.
They're probably pretty rare, I told myself. Removed the one from the only Record I had and made one. It tweren't easy for a rank amateur like me.
And then about five guys on the list came up and offered the guy a NOS pin.
Maybe not so rare after all. Those guys over there have some impressive stashes.

I know for Nuovo Record, Campagnolo called this bit the "grub screw."

This little beauty showed up in my P.O. Box today! What a fine piece of work. I'm definitely the only one on my block with one of these.
rootboy is also a very talented fly tier and knows that I'm a fly fisherman. I was not expecting the fabulous selection of trout flies that he sent along with the derailleur pin.
What generosity!

Thanks Brent!
Hope that one-off stop pin works well for you, and stays put!
As for the flies, glad to do them. I just love tying flies. Tie so many in fact, I'll never be able to use them all,
even if I get reincarnated as Lee Wulff or somebody. Happy riding...and fishing.
