ISO and for trade thread part 5

This is a question for francophile who mentioned having handlebars. I'm hoping to replace some 70's steel with lighter weight stuff. The bars pictured are i guess what's called shallow drop. These measure 38.5cm outside to outside at the caps so 40 or 42 would be OK. Diameter at the stem attachment is 25mm tapering to 23 overall. The seatpost is 25mm. Is this something you have in your stash? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email to mediumsizedog@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Not sure if this will help, but I used the straddle cable anchor bolt from a set of MAFAC "Racer" brakes for that purpose on my similar Maillard drum brake hubs:

Hi Francophile and Others,
Am looking for the hex bolt used to mount Simplex rear derailleurs and hope that you might have one to spare. Happy to reimburse you via PP. Photos below show what I’m looking for. I think that the hex bolt might be universal for Simplex?
Thx!

ISO: skewer set for 100/126mm. Campy Record or something that looks like it (ofmega, miche, etc.).

.
@guelphite, you can also look for an old, less expensive SR Custom 2-bolt seatpost to complete your Record hardware. They mix/match.

Tempting complete front HF record hub for the price of a nice flat skewer, that would be one.

Trying to clean off my desk. Still working on the Covid challenge to clean up the shop, and this pair of hubs is next to leave the MH domicile. So these are in search of a new home. The wheels they came from were a set of Dave Tanner's wheels. Dave was a friend to all who knew him and he was a RAAM competitor and manned the local station every year. These hubs may even have a bit of RAAM history behind them. Dave passed this spring from Cancer and will be sorely missed. These however should live on with another BF member who can appreciate them. I was able to move the rims and spokes to my 1970's Raleigh build so these are ready to leave 36 hole. As always cost of shipping and first to ask gets them. PM me Smiles, MH

These were spoken for by EOM within a few minutes. Thanks folks. MH

I have way too many handlebars, I took another batch of half a dozen to a co-op on Saturday. Looks like a François Belleri stem you have there ... Doesn't look like I have anything to match your bar needs at the moment. For seat posts, I have several straight posts like you're showing. All of the alloys are 26.0 and larger. I have a bunch of straight steel posts.

Not sure if anything in this world is Universal, but yes, I have a very large graveyard of Simplex stuff and quite a pile of NOS Simplex stuff as well. I definitely have a used rear fixing bolt - is that not your derailleur pictured, with the bolt?

Thanks for looking and the pics, but it is none of those. It looks like a rope ladder (in rubber) and is used with the remote sensor.

It is the two items on the lower right corner

"Bear with me", I have a sealed cartridge bearing question: anybody have (or know of) a replacement for the Shimano cart bearings used in STX 1 inch headsets HP-MC 30 (and POSSIBLY also in one inch XT headsets might be HP-M 740 and also one inch 600 HP 6500)?
apparently these are not commonplace but MIGHT be the 1/1/8" variations use a (common) model 9803 (but cannot use that in a 1")
The OEM Shimano is possibly 27 x 41.8 x 8 with 45 degree edges ID and OD but my measurements could be wrong I don't have my digital caliper at hand and used a dial type.
Shimmy just labelled them "Cartridge Type Bearing BC 1".
I'm looking for 2 of them, hopefully an aftermarket brand, any help appreciated....will trade or use that Other Stuff

Thanks for the offer to send a rear fixing bolt but Burtinjim has already popped one in the mail that should do the trick. It is also good to know that you have a large graveyard of Simplex stuff as I need to repair a few more shifters and derailleurs in the fall and winter. In answer to your last question, that bolt was pulled from another rear derailleur just to make sure that it fit and I was looking for the right one.
Best to all,
Flying G
