@madpogue Is correct. It's a Silca with a metal Campy head. As for period correctness, the pump is from the early '80s and the Gueriotti is actually a late '90s. Since 1980 I've only used Silcas. Then last year I tried a Zefal HPX. Great pump. I will eventually switch all my bikes over to Zefals,

Sadly, August is behind us. Great thread ending bike though.
Tx! The purple was added by the guy I got it from, when I went to look at it I asked him "who did that!?" to which he replied, I did. Lucky he wasn't offended. He raced it a bit as well and said it definitely upped his game. Jeffery Bock has decals for it and I will get them and try to figure out what to do. Micheal's in Ames was a magical place and was sought out for there success by many.

The pump in this case is actually a Zefal HPX classic, a frame-fit variant of the classical Zefal frame pump. I got it because the 70s vintage Zefal frame pump that requires an umbrella clip that I use on my Gitane continues to rock along and do the the job, unlike the Silcas or the Blackburn frame pump I used for a few years. The stem is a Nitto lugged stem as initially developed for Rivendell back c.2000. This one is from an early batch that didn't quite precisely meet Grant Petersen's specs and was therefore sold for $100, about $50 less than they were going for in early 2001. This photo was really more about the bar tape but gives a top view -

- and I've enjoyed looking at it on rides since I first had it on my old Rivendell. When I sold that bike a few years ago, I kept the stem and carefully unwrapped the shellacked Tressostar from one side, removed the brake lever and cable and swapped out the Nitto Technomic Deluxe I was using for this one, then re-wrapped the original late 2002 Tresso and shellacked it back into position.

It's August in Japan now, so I can post a recent picture of my McLean. It's not a great picture, but it's one of the few which properly captures the color.

91? fuji, "club fuji", 58cm size

A fairly new to me, purple Club Fuji. I believe it's a 1991 model, but I am not able to find enough info on the interwebs to confirm that. Tange double-butted frame sticker, with Ishiwata "Extreme" chromo fork. (If it's a 1991, it would be my youngest-age steed.) The previous owner said it had been gone thru, but on a short test ride, the seat bolt revealed that it had been stripped, and when I pulled the seat post, it seemed completely barren of grease. I fear riding it until I completely open her up and check for fluids. And "no", that's not how I position my handlebars... that's how they were at purchase.

Best I can do. I know, the bars are rolled up and the saddle is nose down.
I'm not done with the build, which will roll, with @hodgykins on our
Made In Wisconsin team on the Ride Across Wisconsin.
Two riders, bred and born in Wisconsin, on 2 Paramounts,
bred and born in Wisconsin, across the Dairy state.

One day, 2 guys, 2 bikes, and half a brain between us.

No idea what you're talking about.

And the new kid. Trek calls the colors 'dry ice blue' and 'dry ice green'; the green is definitely green, but the blue is definitely bluish purple. I really need to get some glamor shots.

This one has been on here before but here it is again. Custom Veloce built for me by John Stinsman of Allentown, PA in around 1986 or so. Paints fades from Dark Rose Metallic to Light Rose Metallic.
