Tire and Tube Size
I am swapping tires to 28 mm for a tour on the Erie Canal Trail. I have a supply of tubes that go to 25mm for my 25mm tires. Can I use the same tubes in 28mm tires, or do I really need to buy 28mm tubes? Thanks

If I were buying new tubes, I'd look for tubes in which their nominal size range included 28mm. I don't like paying for something that's not what I want.
If I already owned tubes that were listed as 25mm, I'd use them. 3mm isn't enough difference to worry about.

Agree with others - the 25s will be fine.
When are you doing the Canal trail and which section(s)? Back in June my wife and I had a long weekend of day rides on the Erie Canal trail around Pittsford planned, postponed it.

Four of us are still planning to ride it August 2-8... pending COVID test results and government restrictions. We are all retired and have agreed we can cancel at the last minute with no impacts ... so fingers crossed.
