Pashley and rod brakes

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows what year Pashley changed over from rod brakes?

Grazie

Wondering if anyone got an accurate answer to this question? I assumed it was much earlier , like the '70's but on another thread here, a person who actually worked on some Pashley literature, with the factory, said mid 1990's or there -about's is when the rod-brakes-bikes were no longer made. If that isn't the 'horse's mouth' kind of info, I don't know what is! The Pashley here is 1993 built and has the "rod-brakes" so information seems solid... as do the brakes!
