Crocheted Cycling Cap?
Does anyone know if there are any patterns for Crocheted cycling caps? My wife is willing to crochet me one if I can find her a pattern. Please help... I need to keep my head warm since I've lost all my hair trying to keep myself in bike parts.

You don't want anything too think or you won't be able to get your helmet on over top. Have you looked for thin toques? You can probably find an inexpensive one at Walmart or Zellers or similar.
Another option might be a bandana ... Rowan always wears a bandana under his helmet.

I think the idea is that the spouse wants to "hand make" something for him. Maybe so he has something that she made for him.
You may look at this site and look at the different hats that are knitted or crocheted. I think that the beanie or some kind of skull cap would work.

I crochete a little, and this is a pretty good idea. A tight pattern with a soft yarn that can compress under a helmet would be neat. Does your wife sew? I took apart a cap and made a pattern, make my own out of scrap wool bits.
