Metal on metal noise when decompressing Rockshox Reba RL 2017

I bought this fork used a while back but I didn't ride on it until a few days back. I had a good deal on it and I trust the seller.
The fork itself works fantastically for me, no complaints there (I'm not that heavy so I can adjust it pretty easily for myself) BUT
The noise of it decompressing is driving me mad and a bit worried about the safety.
I did not service the fork.
The noise feels like the moving parts are hitting on each other on the inside.
I can not post links here so I can not send you a video or a voice message.
There is no problem in compressing just when the forks goes back to 0%.

If there is someone willing to suggest something just send me a PM
