FS - 1982 Mikkelsen Road Special F/F, Headset and Silca pump

SOLD. SOLD. SOLD.

I bought this not too long ago from PCB here on BF. For the life of me, I can’t get it to stop making my back hurt. I have several other bikes that are comfy, so I am going to pass this frame onto another. HERE is the thread from when I bought it.

Included is Frame, Fork, Headset and painted to match Silca Pump.

Here are are pics of it in its current form. Only items listed are included in sale.

$325 shipped Con US, PayPal only.

Out of curiosity, did you plug this bike's numbers into bikegeo.net as well as your favorite bike? There might be a small adjustment that could make it comfortable.

@Essthreetee Just exhausted my funds but it would be useful to know the size.

All of the exact details of geometry and size are in the thread he linked in the second or third sentence, redirecting back to PCB's original sale.

I have never ever used that site before. I will be playing with it and measurements when I get time.
Thanks

As Gregory said, I thought that PCB had done an amazing job with the previous post where I bought it from, so I just linked that. If that is not cool, please let me know. Paul is aware that I am selling it, I asked him first.

As for price, I am just trying to recoup what I spent (after shipping it to the new buyer).

as a PSA, not that I would encourage more spending on bikes

rame/fork, seatpost binder bolt, dropout adjusters and painted-to-match Silca frame pump only, I'm keeping the headset. Very clean overall with a few small sc****s and touch-ups. No dents, dings or other structural damage.

Clears 700x28mm, might do 30mm; also made a nifty 650b x 38mm roadster.

Frame/Fork/HS weight: 6.48lbs
ST 72.5-deg, HT 72.5-deg
ST 60.5cm c-c, 61.5cm c-t
TT: 56.5cm c-c
Chainstay: 41.5cm, wheelbase 99.8cm
BB Height 27.8cm/10.9"; bb drop 67mm; standover 87.5cm/34.5"
Rear spacing 126mm; Campy short horizontal drops w/o eyelets

I spoke to Bernie not long after I got this frameset, maybe 10-12yrs ago? Bernie doesn't serialize his framesets, but could narrow down production time based on frame details. He said:
Columbus tubing likely, prob. SP downtube, .9-.6-.9
French cut stay ends = early '80s
Full-sloping internal fork crown = pre-'85

I'm pegging it around '82.

Squirtdad...you are a rock star. Thanks for posting that. I guess I have been a little lackadaisical as I don’t really want to sell it,I am still fiddling with it hoping that something magical will happen. Thanks to everyone for your help. If you have any questions about it, I will do my best to answer them.
