Can I put 700/35 tires on Aksium's?

I recently picked up an Aksium 2007 wheelset. (Upgrade for me, at least)
I want to put on 35 tires, but on the mavic site, they recommend, at least for the 2008 model, only 19-32.
So, what say you?
Thanks!

I'd say stick with what Mavic says. Which tire exactly? Some companies run small and some large. You might get away with a Conti or Panaracer 35.

There should be no problem. I'm using 37 mm studded tires with Mavic Cosmos rims. The recommended tire width for Cosmos is also 19-32 mm.

I've used the studded tires for two winters now without problems.

If you could clarify...are you asking whether a 35mm tire will physically fit on the rim, whether it's a good idea, how long the wheels will last when run out of spec, or whether Mavic will warranty it if it fails?
