Velobase is gone!
Looks like it is off line for now. Anyone know how to get to it?

It's fine for me and slightly improved since the server switch but I still find that on a PC with Chrome I can only access the first page of any search that produces multiple pages of results. Those past "1" are not accessible, have to try to fine-tune any searches so I only get a single page of results. I imagine if I switched back to my Mac there'd be no such problem, but haven't tested that yet.

You can do an advanced search by thread title for "velobase" and limit the results to the c&v subforum.

Obviously something's wrong, as the website is up, but the application keeps returning errors. But I'm sure it's a temporary thing. I mean, Jon is a good guy, and I just donated ten bucks, so it can't be a lack of funds, either.

Edit: I do the same workaround as 3alarmer

Webhost migrated my old account last night, and in doing so appears to have killed my new account that had the current velobase instance running. On hold waiting for support.

I'm attempting to get the site back up and running at least in a read-only state. I can easily disable add/edit of most things, other than comments. Spent the last 2 hours on the phone with support, they have some reference to the change of the domain's DNS, but the account it was running on seems to have disappeared into the depths of the internet.
If anyone added or updated anything since Nov. 20th, it's likely to be lost at this point, they're going to spend the next 2 days attempting to find any more information, but I'm giving it a 20% chance at best.

Accurate. Been on a high priority project at work for the last 2 weeks in addition to my usual 'lead developer' handling of all things that need to be handled. Was not looking forward to doing development work this weekend, but it's the hand I've been dealt. Site still isn't back up this morning, but hope to have it running by the end of the day.

That would be my wife. Started working in the '80's writing assembler. Progressed to C and C++ and other stuff. Now she examines patents for the U.S. Patent Office so she argues with lawyers all the time.
If she's talking she's usually OK. When she gets quiet I back away slowly.

Site is back up. Not all features are available, but I can at least look at my favorite derailleurs again. Thanks, Jon!

Just got off the phone with the (soon to be former) hosting provider and we think the DNS is finally updated correctly to connect to the server. Things should start showing up within the next 1 to 2 hours as the DNS change propagates.
