Pedals for my new (old) MTB
I recently bought used MTB which didn't came with any pedals what is a good budget option.

Flats or clipless?
There are plenty of cheapies around, but at a minimum I'd always recommend something with a sealing system. If going flats, then something with pins. Shimano make some nice pedals but not cheap.

All depends too on your budget. Flats come in all flavors. Be forewarned about the pins: just be careful when that crank comes around and hits your shin. Been there, done that, punctured several times.

Thank you everyone. They all look like great options. Regarding to the budget I would like to stay around 50$. And I generally prefer some light-weight options. My rides will be 40-30% on trail and 60-70% round the town sime bike paths or gravel.

I like MKS Sylvan Touring pedals. I ride road, gravel, and not-very-difficult single track on them.
They seem to be well made and are light and inexpensive.
