Great story!

Cities in Denmark and the Netherlands where there is strong reliance on bicycles for personal mobility offer a better model for developing countries than North America where there is huge reliance on cars. One could envision large cities in African countries with streets full of bicycle commuters similar to Copenhagen and Amsterdam rather than clogged with cars. This is something that could be realized in just a few years with the support of officialdom and proper planning.
