I have found a lot of deals on amazon for black bibs, but they contain a reflective strip in places I dont want it.

Works fine for me. So do the two pairs of their bibs and the one jersey that I have from them.

Does the sizing run true? Small, large?

I'm 6'2" 210 lbs and the XL Ultimate perfect. Pad is thicker but works for me on 100K+ rides.

I bought a pair of the $80 Black Bibs "Ultimate" as an experiment and I liked them so much that I bought another pair. Surprisingly good fit and comfort.

I find the pad too thick and the fabric too slick. I keep sliding forward because I ride a 'wave' saddle, so I slide down to the trough, which isn't where I want to be. I have tried lightly sanding the leather of the saddle to give it more grip, and it helped a bit, but I was still repeatedly adjusting my position on the saddle.

On the plus side, they kept everything out of the way, if you know what I mean.

I ordered a pair and I ordered the tall in large. I have skinny legs and I’m 6’2”. I hope they work.
