Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ok, so aside from the race entry stuff, my last real purchase was 10 clincher tires, 30 tubes, 3 tubular tires, shoes, and a bunch of socks. I should be set for a while

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)

Sadly, I buy something just about every day I work. I don't really get a paycheck. The wife isn't pleased about that.

Yesterday I came home with a pair of rims and a pair of Ritchey cyclocross tires.
Today I came home with a tandem/touring kickstand. Tomorrow I'll probably come home with a Bell Volt CSC helmet. (My SweepR is pretty manky now)

You might not want to use them both at the same time right away...
