Addiction LXXVIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

According to Strava (sorry), my VAM last summer was around 600.

New life goals.
A. Move some place that has elevation. Literally anywhere but where I live currently.
B. Get my VAM above 600.

I think A has to take place before B

I didn't recommend looking for Mo there; I recommended seeing the banned users list there.

Did you climb for an hour?

Nearly. There is a nine mile route that I can ride from the shop that is pretty much all climbing. Last summer, I was taking a bout 50 to 55 minutes to get to the peak. Total elevation gain (from the bottom of that particular climb) is just under 1700 feet. Here's a ride from our old location I did last June. https://www.strava.com/activities/2470970197/overview

Alright. ALRIGHT it is me, dammit! I was a little wild in my early days and I got into quite a bit of trouble. They made me a deal that if I would join the mod squad they would un-permatize me and place me in witness protection, or mod protection, and they wouldn't threaten my family. I had no choice, they quid-pro-quo'd me, now I'm stuck on the mod team forever.

Please help me, tell the world my story . . . or at least the forum. I'm counting on you, Seeds.

I did not take a picture, but I let the sourdough rise overnight, and this morning it had puffed up 3x its size. Guess what's on the menu for dinner??

If it makes you puff up 3x your size, will you take a picture?

Sure. Not likely. I am back under 140 again after a 3 day weekend of riding. It's going to take A LOT of bread to get me to look like the doughboy.

I guess you'll have to make a couple of those things where you cut the loaf into a little bowl and fill it with chowdah.
