Raleigh Technium 460

This Raleigh Technium 460 from 1986 was donated to the Bike Shack. It appears to have been used very little in its life, and is stock with the exception of the seat. The bike is quite light thanks to its aluminum frame and is quite a blast to ride. It has a 20" seat tube and a 22" top tube, measured center to center. The brakes and shifters are Shimano, and the crankset is an SR (Sakae Ringyo) double, although it could be drilled to accept a triple ring. The wheels have 27" Rigida aluminum rims. As you can see from the pictures, it is a very clean bike!

The Bike Shack is a volunteer-run co-op that is colocated with the NE Seattle Tool Library. We rely on donations from our users so that we can provide tools and renewable items such as cables and bearings for people who need them to stay on the road. I would like to get $225 for this bike, plus costs of shipping via bike flights if needed. Oh, I should add that the rack has been removed.

Sorry for the late response but I reside in a small city called Visalia in California. How much is shipping and what would be the total cost?

I would use Bike Flights for shipping. Let me see if I can get a quote. (Edit) Looks like I can ship it to you for as little as $40 or so, so total price would be $265 for you.

Yikes, I'm so sorry for the late response again! I was not aware that you had an edit on the post. Is there anyway we can exchange more privately?

I sent you a private message through the site. Let me know here if you are not able yet to reply to my message.

Also, look for the « thread tools » link at the top of this page. You should be able to subscribe to the thread and get an email when someone posts.

I cannot private message as I have not yet posted (edit) 10 times. Could we potentially email each other?

I just recently bought this nearly exact bicycle 6 weeks ago from a nearby pawn shop. It was if it had my name written on it and suits me comfortably as was a fun ride. I’ve looked at looked and to no avail and then I find amazingly it’s twin. It was stolen of E-Line not returned to metro and I’ve had my mind on finding one like ever since. I live nearby and would very much like to buy it. Please private message me or get back to me at your earliest convié ce. Thank the Bike Shack is open tomorrow I can come in after work. Thanks
