Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i’ve yet to see the speaker. The guys I group ride with are 30 years senior to me, I can imagine trying to work a blue tooth would be quite hard for them.

When I solo ride, I typically have head phones in. Music is just loud enough to help mask the wind noise, but not loud enough where I can’t hear a car. I have the bontrager quantum helmet and If you go faster than 5 miles per hour you would think you were in a wind tunnel simulating light speed.

A few use an external BT speaker, but most literally just have the phone maxing the volume on its internal speaker, toss it in a jersey pocket, and ride around like that.

I rode today! The ribs were a little problematic, other than that I was ok. The old rig is feeling weird now that I am acclimated to the new bike. I'll find out if the new bike is ok tomorrow. Rain for the next 3 days so by Thursday the new pedals will be here and I will hopefully be back in business.

Wait, people listen to music on speakers while riding a bicycle?

It's important to note that 14 of their first 21 points were off of flukey plays or drives. While those still count, it's not really surprising that once the Chiefs stopped muffing punts and generally looked like they got over the jitters they rolled up points like they tend to.

Yes, blasting it to the air. It's unfortunately common here.

I don't Strava. Does it report the water consumption in ounces? If so, was it a whole number less than 1?
