Auction ended with 0 bids? That's crazy! I mean, it's 10,000, but that's Australian dollars, so like total 20 bucks in real money, right?

Here are the pics of the mens bike
And the auction was ended early.

I think the seller was using E-Bay as an image hosting system for some reason other than selling that Peugeot.

Such a deal...........

I seriously hope at least the picture is a joke, if not the whole ad.

Need someone to weld a bicycle

Need someone to weld a bicycle - $1

I have a couple of old cruiser bikes that I would like to modify - basically cop and extend. It turns out I can't weld to save my life. I would love to find a fellow bike nut to help me by doing some relatively simple (I think) welding. I would be willing to pay or work to build two and I would give one to you for your efforts.

These would be thick steel, not the fancy allow tubular stuff on "ten speeds".

I think it is a pretty unique bike. Rear suspension semi-recumbent cruiser ape hanger. Must unique adaptation of two rear derailleurs.

Ok, everything clashes badly But, it is the thought that counts, right?

It might be a fun project, if the guy was just a couple thousand miles closer

Those are redeemable in ME-VT-CT-MA-NY-OR-IA for 5¢ (and 10¢ in MI!). So technically: "Collectible"

Old and found in attic = extremely valuable, right? Oh, and CPSC reflectors on front, rear, wheels and pedals does not equal 1950s. Try '70s.

Vintage Triumph bicycle 1950's

Vintage Triumph bicycle 1950's - $375

make / manufacturer: Triumph

Found this bike in an attic. Been there a long time. Old bike, restorable condition. Made in England. No emails, and serious buyers only.

Depends on the setup. If that rear wheel was built up with a White Industries ENO hub or an eccentric bottom bracket, then it might be possible to adjust chain tension.

This particular bike does not appear to have an ENO, eccentric BB, half-link BMX chain or anything else that might make it work properly.

Half-assed hipster butchering should never happen to any bike. If you're going to do this you need to do it properly, kiddies.

Its a cheap gas pipe huffy that someone switched to a single speed to race in the Little 500. Really not a big deal.

Edit: Ah, didn't look close enough on the first pass, not a decent frame but the forged dropout is still a bit of a puzzler.

Theres really no collectors value in the bikes, the teams are issued two bikes, all the bikes are identical only sizes vary. For the longest time they were AMF, but now I think they change every year. The teams have an option to either keep the bikes or give the bikes back to be rented and used as practice bikes on the track. The teams have to put down a deposit for the bikes and get it back if they don't want the bikes. It really is a fun event to attend. Ive never seen nice quality bikes being raced there.

Oh yeah, I remember back when they had the Tour de France in America, that was about 1983-84, wasn't it? That was the year Greg Armstrong won, then got banned for performance enhancing aerodynamic socks, wasn't it?
