Possibly. There's a whole lot of wrong with that bike imho. I'm guessing its a Super Course.

not even! I believe by the time that style of headbadge is in use, even the Super Course has forged dropouts.

I have an English-built Super Course frame with stamped dropouts, so possibly an earlier model? Did the Japanese-made Raleighs all get better dropouts?

Bob Jackson Dura-Ace 10 speed - $800

WOW!

This is a mid-90s Bob Jackson in Reynolds 531 steel lugged road bike in a 53cm frame size.
Bike is equipped with a mix of Shimano Dura-Ace and Ultegra 10 speed gruppo
Brand new; Chain, Cassette, Tires, Cable/Housing, Bar-Tape

In this brilliant blue with classic looking yet modern high performance and lightweight parts this <18lb bike is equal in price to a brand new Specialized with poor performing Aluminum frame and heavy 8speed parts.

I have confirmation from Bob Jackson that this serial# is their bike. This is an incredible opportunity to own an outstanding, rare bike. Please buy with confidence.

1983 Schwinn Super Sport, barely ridden just tuned like new - $180 (Roslindale)

Just tuned! Lightweight 49 cm/19" double butted lugged Columbus steel frame, Japanese built probably by Panasonic, top quality touring bike with factory front and rear luggage racks. Barely ridden, with original tires and seat, hardly a scratch. Plenty of room for wider tires and fenders. Classic half step triple chainring SR crankset with 14/28 freewheel to allow real world comfortable riding with panniers. Option to switch handlebars to upright with handlebar shifters, if that is your preference. Very elegant for a rider 5' to 5'5" in size.

Gonna need some Dyna drive pedals or adapters, nice bike, maybe very optimistic pricing IMO.

That is a damn nice bike, and in my size. I am good as I just bought a 2003 Lemond Poprad for 500 USD, and it is all upgraded to Ultegra 6500 with the wheels being Mavic Open Pro rims with Ultegra hubs. And the frame is 853 Reynolds. I am quite pleased with it.

Dyna drive 600 series pedals are actually cheap on Ebay because no one wants them... The adapters on the other hand...

I don't think those cranks are dyna drive, they are too new. I think the pedal holes just look big in the pic because of dirt / wear.

Those look like 9 speed Ultegra 6500 cranks. Normal 9/16" pedals should fit fine.

I'd pick this up myself -always been curious about these "Paramounts"- but I just bought a new ride and blew my bike budget for the foreseeable future....

https://worcester.craigslist.org/bik...960042597.html

Early 90s Schwinn Paramount 974 Shimano 600 STI - $300 (Gardner)

This is a rare, complete early 90s Schwinn Paramount 974 road bike with an aluminum frame, chromoly fork, and full matching Shimano 600 groupset. These bikes are well built, very lightweight, and definitely turn heads. It is not that common to find one with STI brifters like this one. Mavic rims with Shimano 600 hubs. The rare original quill seat post is intact and still works (I tried it). Nice LOOK clip in pedals. Everything works but right side shifter is sensitive. Frame is 58 or 60cm, good for taller riders

+1; looks like there's grease around the pedal threads, creating a trompe l'oeil.

My bad, you're right, they looked big to me.

Still gonna have to go clear to the ledge on the price IMO.

And nothing wrong with that.

I've got a similar aluminum Schwinn and it's a really beautiful bike to be honest. I was surprised at how well it rode with all the hype about how harsh aluminum bikes are. I did crack the seatpost early one (common failure) but the replacement is holding up just fine. My adult son has the bike and is using regularly now. You might want to rething picking it up....there's always room for one more bike, LOL!

Quite possibly. Look at the handlebar tape. I couldn't keep it that clean if I so much as stood in the same ZIP code as that bike.

The hoods, too. Those white Shimano aero hoods get dirty/yellowed/icky just by thinking about them.
